Pauline Novak created Reading with Wings to provide expert, skilled one-on-one or small-group intervention with students to develop accurate and fluent reading with comprehension. As a Certified Academic Language Therapist, CALT-QI, for more than a decade, she integrates language therapy techniques and Montessori methodology for students with specific language disabilities, dyslexia, and related disorders. Understanding that all children learn differently and at their own pace, instruction is based on diagnostic and prescriptive intervention to create a specific program to advance a student’s reading, writing, and spelling skills.
About Pauline Novak
Pauline is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist and Certified Academic Language Therapist (C.A.L.T.) with more than 30 years of experience in education. Since 2011, she has been certified at the therapy level in an Orton-Gillingham-based approach to language therapy and combines this therapy with Montessori hands-on materials.
